client: Edenton Builders and ABC's hit reality show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition's 143rd project build—an effort that helps families giving back to their community, even though they themselves could use a helping hand.
objective: Rally a community of sponsors, donors and volunteers. Coordinate an immense number of people, materials and supplies. Promote a worthwhile effort for a deserving family.
challenge: Complete a website, from initial engagement to launch, in two weeks as a pro bono project without disrupting an already hectic client schedule
response: The Ulanguzi team rallied, working tirelessly on nights and weekends to complete the challenge (much like the show itself). Ad hoc teams and real-time collaboration drove the project to a successful launch.
results: With the initial launch and builder announcement a huge success, Ulanguzi is looking forward to the build week and the project air.
